AGM 2019

Martin and Tiny listening intently to
 Jim Doran’s report ‘Membership Matters’.

Members during the AGM, hanging on every word!

RAFLAA members gathered at the Centurion Hotel, Radstock, for the 25th Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 6 April 2019. The minutes of this meeting are recorded in the July 2019 Newsletter, which is available here.

Everyone was delighted to see our President, Martin Palmer, back in his seat after a challenging bout of ill health. Martin gave a very interesting talk contrasting our memories of RAF service with the role of the RAF today.

Chairman, Tiny Kuhle, has also battled with health problems during the past year and it was good to see him looking so much better than of late and on the road to recovery.

On the Friday evening, those members who wished to do so enjoyed a fine meal in the hotel’s restaurant, and made use of the excellent bar facilities.

Saturday brought opportunities to explore the area before and after the AGM, whether it was the sites of Wells or Bath or the beauty of the Mendip region. The evening saw members enjoying a dinner and dance.

Members departed after breakfast on Sunday having enjoyed an excellent weekend in great company and well looked after by the hotel.
