RAF Halton Apprentice Association (Southern Group) has extend to members of the RAFLAA an invitation to join their bi-monthly meetings.

The group meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the Neville Duke Hall, Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, Chichester PO20 2ES.

It is active group with a number of social events throughout the year including an annual BBQ, a Christmas Dinner, and visits to interesting venues.

Each meeting includes a brief business session followed by an interesting talk. For example, this month’s (August) talk was on the WWII Dowding System and the Battle of Barking Creek. Free tea, coffee and biscuits are available during the interval. If, after attending a meeting, you would like to join, the annual subscription is £20.

I attend regularly and find them to be a great great bunch who have gone through the same experience as us and therefore immediately approachable. Why not give it a try!
